Seen by the Savior: When Heaven Notices Your Hidden Faith

📖 “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” —Hebrews 6:10 (NKJV)

We live in a world that often equates value with visibility. The louder, bigger, and more noticeable something is, the more it’s praised. But in the Kingdom of God, it's often the quiet, hidden acts of love that hold the greatest eternal significance.

When you pray for someone without telling them…
When you encourage a weary friend when you're struggling too…
When you keep serving without being seen or celebrated…

These moments matter deeply to God.

In Matthew 26, a woman poured out a costly flask of fragrant oil upon Jesus, and the room erupted in judgment. “Why this waste?” the disciples asked, missing the beauty of her heart. But Jesus stopped them and lifted her up:

“She has done a good work for Me.” —Matthew 26:10 (NKJV)

🌹 A Lavish Love Misunderstood

The woman’s act was seen as extravagant—too much, unnecessary, inappropriate even. But to Jesus, it was pure worship. Her love, poured out without reservation, mirrored the love He was about to display on the cross.

We often hold back, don’t we? Not because we don’t love Jesus, but because we fear what others might think. We fear being misunderstood, labeled extreme or emotional. But this story teaches us that extravagant love for Jesus is never wasted—even if the world doesn’t understand it.

And when others misunderstand your heart, Jesus defends you.

“Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.” —Matthew 26:13 (NKJV)

What a stunning promise. A single act of love, forgotten by men but remembered by Heaven forever.

🌾 The Hidden Kingdom of Faithfulness

Much of God’s work in us and through us happens in obscurity. In parables, Jesus often compared the Kingdom of Heaven to small, hidden things: a mustard seed, a bit of yeast, a treasure buried in a field.

In the same way, your unseen acts of kindness, obedience, and faith are part of that hidden Kingdom. You are sowing seeds—seeds of grace, healing, truth, and hope.

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” —Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)

Don’t give up because no one notices. God does.

❤️ A Savior Who Sees the Heart

Jesus doesn’t just see what we do—He sees why we do it. He sees when love motivates the sacrifice, when compassion fuels the choice, when pain is endured for the sake of faith.

Your offering is not measured by size but by sincerity.

Whether you're leading a ministry or folding laundry while whispering prayers, it's not invisible to Heaven.

Whether you are giving sacrificially or simply choosing joy in a difficult moment, God sees it all.

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.” —Psalm 34:15 (NKJV)

He is not distant. He is near, watching with tender eyes and remembering every faithful step.

✨ Final Thought: Let Love Be Your Legacy

Jesus said the woman’s act of love would be remembered wherever the gospel is preached. That means love—not power, success, or prestige—is the lasting legacy of the Kingdom.

Let your life be poured out like fragrant oil. Let your worship cost something. Let your faith shape every step—even if no one else sees, even if no one understands.

Because Jesus sees.

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love…” —Hebrews 6:10 (NKJV)
